FanFiction Stamp

Now what I mean by this is that I am getting really really really REALLY REEEAAALLLLYYY tired of having to sift through pages and pages of nonsensical romance and pairings that will never happen just to find ONE god damned fic that actually sort of makes sense!

I don't always want to read yaoi, yuri, about how your OC supposedly fell in love with your favorite bishi, or about how two characters completely abandon their personalities for each other.

There is some good romance where the characters act like themselves, I know, but finding it is just as hard as finding something relevant to canon.

And even if it is well written, sometimes I just want to read something else. ANYTHING else. Honestly. Characters can do other things besides fall in love and have sex! Its possible! Try it some time!

It's quite hard to sift through it all. Honestly... they should have a button that just filters it out if you want. I realize they have a list to choose a genre from, but that doesn't make it any easier to find something non-romantic.

I realize this is probably the most pointless thing ever to rant about, but I think about it every time I'm on that site so I figured I'd make a stamp.

Oh, and if anyone knows a better way to word this, as I was having trouble explaining it in short words, please tell me.
